What Type of Tomato to Use for Persian One Pot Tomato Rice?
For this dish, I used canned tomatoes, but fresh tomatoes are also an option. When it comes to fresh tomatoes, I adore utilizing large, juicy tomatoes that are vivid red.
If you are using fresh tomatoes, smash them in a blender or food processor and then follow the instructions.
To get the same red hue, make sure you add one tablespoon of tomato paste. Try using fresh tomatoes if you’re cooking this meal in the summer; they provide additional taste and scent.
