How to Make Vavishka?
Ingredients
- 300 grams minced meat
- 2 onions
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 bell pepper
- 4 tomatoes
- Salt and black pepper as needed
- Turmeric and oil as needed
Directions of Vavishka Recipe
Step One
To start Vavishka Recipe, first, peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Wash them with cold water and put them in a colander to remove the excess water.
Step Two
Chop the onion into small pieces, put a pan on heat and add some oil. Add the onion to the pan and fry for a few minutes until it becomes golden.
Step Three
Now, after the onion is golden, add some turmeric and black pepper to the pan and continue frying for another two minutes until you smell the aroma of the spices. Add the minced meat to the pan and fry.

Minced meat should be roasted until it changes color. Then, cut the bell pepper into small pieces, add it to the pan, and fry it for a while until it becomes soft.

At this stage, remove the tomatoes’ skin and pour them into the mixer. If you don’t have a mixer available, grate the tomatoes with a grater and add them to the pan.

Adding tomato paste is optional, but half a tablespoon of tomato paste can both make Vavishka tastier and make the food more colorful. Of course, we should fry the tomato paste well.

After adding the tomatoes to the pan, put the lid on it and allow the meat to cook well and the water to drain. While cooking the meat, put a suitable pan on the heat and add some oil.
