Bake Shirini Gerdoi Without Oven?

To bake Persian walnut cookies, follow these two steps:

  1. Since the heat does not escape, we place three metal bases within a large pot and completely cover the pot with the lid. After that, we covered the pot with a flame spreader and cooked it over extremely low heat for fifteen minutes. Allow it to reach room temperature.
  2. Next, we transfer the candies into a tiny greaseproof paper-lined pan or cake mold and place them into the pot. The pastry bakes for around 20 minutes.

The cookies must be turned over and left in the saucepan for a further five to ten minutes, covered with greaseproof paper, in order for them to get golden.
